The CodiSec team has given us yet another reason to be proud!
This time it was at last weekend’s Trend Micro Capture The Flag event.
Hundreds of teams, including those ranked among the world’s best, were challenged to find the flaws in applications, crack ciphers, gather information about (imaginary) individuals and analyze network traffic for 24 hours.
CodiSec took 5th place and qualified for the final round, to take place in November in Tokyo!
The competition in Japan will be held in an Attack-Defense format. Each team will get a server with installed services. They’ll have to find the flaws in them, fix them and then exploit them to attack other teams. The top 10 teams from the qualifying round earned a chance to participate in the finals.
